Does anyone know how to make this player region free ??

I know its possible, coz there for sale online regionfree, and the pioneer supplier of a shop I know, said that if the shop bought enough players, he'd give them a code to make the players region free..

Question is: does anyone know that code yet ??

Yes, it can be made region free. It must be chipped or there are some dealers that have a special remote and they will hire it out to you for $50 or so. It can only be used once. Its completely different from normal remotes and they cost people in the trade about $500

thanks for the reply.. but as I said, the guy from pioneer HIMSELF said he'd give the code if enough was ordered..

So there must be some sort of normal code to unlock it.. right ??

As far as I know, its not possible to make a Pioneer player region free by using the remote to enter a 'hack'.

HOWEVER

You should be able to play DVDs from any other region.

PLEASE, PLEASE! Vote on the poll connected to my post, even if this doesn't work - no-one yet has even replied but as far as I can see, there are no other multiple-machine pioneer hacks apart from mine! Where's all my thanks?!? Just kidding!
