The firmware listed in the DVD Hacks list doesn't work for me as well - it says invalid disc. Mattin, if somehow happens your are still around here and found any way to make that player region free let me know pls :)

Maybe you will be lucky and someone will have a hack that works. However, sometimes manufacturers make hardware changes that break hacks that worked in the past. Perhaps that has happened with this player. Hollywood has convinced most of the manufacturers to stop making players that can easily be made region free, so we get a lot of posts from people who ask for help because old hacks don't work now. Usually they don't get help.
