I am having difficulties extracting the audio to a wav in a DIVx movie.
This is the first time seeing this error.
Virtual Dub error: ACM Failed to suggest audio decompression format.
Then I get "AVI Output WAV: The Handle is invalid"
There is no error when opening the file.
File information (Audio):
48000Hz
Channels 5 Stereo
Compression: Unknown (tag 2000)
I had joined two avi's to form this one with direct stream audio and video and set to convert to 44000Hz. The conversion to 44kHz obviously didn't happen.
Any more experienced user comments would be appreciated.
Cheers, Mark

Your Divx contains AC3 audio
Channels 5 Stereo -
Very good. Learned something new today thanks to you bugster. I tried out the finished product but have a mild audio sync problem now. That scourge that I think everyone has had to deal with.
