  1. Anyone want to test a VCD for me? Anyone know where I can test a VCD on a DVD player?

I know my DVD plays VCD's, but it's been giving me probs. I don't know whether it's my CD-R's (Durabrand) or My CD-Writer (Mitsumi CR-4804TE) or my DVD Player (Pioneer DV-C503). All three of these are capable of making my VCD's...

So, is it my encoding? I even tried making a Demo VCD using Nero...

I hate this, my VCD's just play for 2 seconds, and then is just stops.

I believe it's my DVD player now... This is really pissing me off

  5. Just take a couple of your home-made VCDs into Best Buy, Circuit City, or whatever stores you have locally. Try them out in a few players (try them in an Apex if you can, most of them will almost play an old shoe if you can close the tray).
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war."
