I would like to add a few clips (sound and video) from some movies that I have on DVD to a video project I am doing in Premiere. I can't imagine that ripping the entire DVD is the answer. The only thing I can think of is to connect my DVD player RCA cables to an analog capture device, but that seems a little crazy to me. Is there a simple solution?
Thanks in advance.
BTW, which forum does this question really belong in?

Hmm.. u could try DVDx frameserve (using the avi wrapper and videoserver plugin) which would be the easiest way to view and
keep the dvd clips directly into Premier. The trouble is I've never
tried this but the theory seems ok.
Other than that perhaps DVD2AVI could be used, tho editied DVD clips
may need further clipping in Premier. -
DVDx is a good solution I've used it and it does allow you to end the rip at a certain time and I supose the same with the beginning.
