Ok, I currently put the "N" in Newbie so please bare with me. I purchased a DVDR drive thinking I would back up my DVDs like I back up my CDs, to my suprise, Movie DVDs are to large to simply one to one copy and now the pain begins.

I have ripped with smartripper and I also did the rempeg2 task to reduce the size of my DVD. However, the guide I was using included the demo and no longer available Spruce-Up program. (thanks)

I have a .M2V file on my HD that I can view using PowerDVD and it looks great. I also have a AC3 on my HD that I can play using PowerDVD and it sound great. How do I get the files to the point where I can burn them to a DVDR and have them both work together?

I have a DVDrom, DVDR and a CDRW on my PC and would really like to see a updated guide that simplifies the ripping/reducing/burning process.
