  1. Hello !!

    When iam adding a mpeg or avi to virtaldub, selecting video then subtitel in the plugins directory, then i´m starting frameserver open up TMpg, starting encoding. finally when i´m looking at the mpg movie i can´t see no text..

    Please help me

  2. Most probably your subtitles are of the wrong format (probably srt).

    If you are using the vobsub filter, your subtitles have to be in SUB format.

    If you are using the Avery Lee subtitler, your subtitles must be in SSA format. If they are not, there are a few utilities I can recommend that can convert from one format to the next one shot.

  3. try to save the avi in virtualdub and then encode the file in tmpg
    no need to frameserve.

    I usually run run Virtual Dub with its subtitle filter by itself, using the output window to see if the subtitles appear where I tell them to. If they are where they belong, then I frameserve.

    And 2man, I beg to differ, we sometimes frameserve from .avi to .mpg because there are few programs we know of that lets us use more than four subtitles per video other than Virtual Dub's filter and comeradie with Avisynth.

    If you know of such a program, (i.e., one that can add more than four subtitles to a mpeg video), please "throw us a bone here" and share it with us.
