  1. anyone knows how may bitrate(kbps) in 100 MB? someone show me how to calculate it?

  2. bitrate(kbps) = total filesize(bytes) / Time of video(seconds).

    8 bits = 1 byte

  3. Do you mean a file that is 100Mb in sise (which can be tranfered at any bit rate) or do you mean a file that is 100MB per second, which is 800Mb/sec or 800000Kb/sec.

  4. what i mean is that i want to fit a 100 MB of mpeg on a CD-R and i want it to be as highest quality (in birate -kbits/sec) as possible without going over 100 MB after the conversion. Pretty hard to explain what i mean...sorry if its not clear enough...thanx for the help anyway!!

    Bitrate is allocated per second so it all depends on how long your movie is. There is no bitrate setting that will always result in a 100MB file. Use Kdiddy's equation, it works.

  6. Take out a calculator!

    As what Kdiddy said -- bitrate = size / time
