  1. Please help someone. I've been trying to figure this out for over a week. I purchased nero 5.5, excited about burning my downloaded avi files directly to vcd. When I try to watch my vcd though, the audio and video get out of sync very quickly. When I skip ahead though, it gets back in sync, but within a minute, back off again. So what I did, to try to fix it,I read that I could use another program to fix it, but need to be in mpg first, so I converted the dat to mpg, but in mpg, it works perfect. So to test it out, with that mpg I created from the dat, I used it to make another vcd, but the same problem occurs. I tried various cdr's...memorex, imation, verbatim, pny, and smartbuy... all with the same problem.... Please help me before I Also, tried burning at 4x and 16x, still same problem.

  2. Have you tried playing the VCD on a DVD/VCD player? Just to make sure that it's not your software player that is giving you the headache.

  3. That's a good idea, but too bad for me that the only other dvd player I got right now is ps2, which doesn't support vcd. I guess I could try playing it on someone elses dvd player though. Until then, please post me some more options. Thank you.

  6. It's probably your RAM problem. I came across this page recently:

    http://pcworld.com/downloads/collection/0,collid,1212,00.asp

You might want to try out the:

    DocMemory RAM Diagnostic Software v1.45a

  7. What's the burner software you use? Hope it's Ahead Nero Burning ROM and not EZ CD Creator.
