firstoff, yes i have read the sticky in the audio forum and no the suggestions do not apply in this case...
im looking for software that can capture/rip audio from DVDs as well as other compressed video formats (such as AVI divx etc...)
however,
i do not want to resample the sounds (as in going through my audio interface to capture) i would like to have the sound file in its original recorded format and quality.
and most importantly...
i do not want something that only rips/converts the whole video file, i cannot be ripping a whole DVD for a 5 second effect sound. (there are many programs that can do this, but i would really like something where i can specify the start and end point and have a direct rip)
is what im looking for exist?
thanx

VirtualDubMod. Open VOB, mark-in, mark-out, demux audio stream. A commercial DVD will have to be decrypted first.
