Is it possible to burn DVD quality short movie to regular CD

Hi;
I saw an Ads saying that we can burn dvd quality movie to regular CD. Is this true? anyone here try this product yet? the link is:

My goal is to create a very short clip from my DV camera to CD (But DVD format and quality). What is the procedure?
I have made many VCDs/SVCDs from my DV camera with the help of this forum, but I could not find DV to DVD using regular CD.

you basicly just convert to dvd and then author the dvd and burn on cdr but it won't work on many dvd players.

ah, I've got emails like that so many times..

rest assured you CANNOT get a full DVD movie onto a CDR with the same quality!

as baldrick said, it is possible to fit DVD quality mpeg's onto a CD, but you'll only be able to get up to 15 minutes.

I wouldn't waste your time with that product if I were you.. all the software and help you need is right here
