  1. I have some non-seekable ASF's videos, any idea on how to make this kind of files seekable??? this doesn't let me see the whole content of the videos

    ASF files bite....my only sugestion is to convert them to AVi's so you can use them with any players and editors or run through most encoders to make mpg's for VCDs.
    Virtdub 1.3c will do this and very fast ...10 min clips take about 15 sec to convert.

    Using Windows Media Tools you can index a file but it really needs to be done at the production stage.
    The Webmaster of the site you got it from has much to learn.

    finally tried with Virtualdub 1.3 but it doesnt work, it always says "data chunk missing".
    I need to make seekable some non-seekable asf's i have, does anyone know how to do that?? Help please...
