Mintek 2110 cuts off last 5 min of svcd

Any svcd's I burn play great until the last 5 min. where it just stops playing. They play all the way through on my pc's dvd player so it's not a problem with the svcd. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

I'm not sure about your model, but I have a Mintek DVD-2580, and it does the same thing. I checked the mintek website and it said my model doesn't support svcd, though you may experience some functionality.

2 things you can do.... One- just copy the mpg file to cd (data not svcd format). the mintek will recognize the mpg file and play it right away... Another is to do a firmware upgrade to the shinco model,,, I like this myself,,, also eliminates macrovision.... Here is the link...
