Easy CD Creator 5 Crashes... =(

Hello All-

I had Easy CD Creator Platinum 5 burning everything perfectly.
Now I click on the PLUS sign to add a video file (mpg) and Easy CD Creator crashed/DrWatson's. I have tried uninstalling the app, rebooting and reinstalling without success. It always crashes at the time when I have to add the mpg to the video layout. I can never get to even press the burn button since I cannot even load the mpg file.

This happens with all mpgs which I convert (using TMPGENC). I had no problems before (specially since I still read this website's instructions for everytime I burn something =) Has anyone else seen this problem?

Please help since I have never been able to get VCDEasy or CDRWin to burn. My burner (which worked with Easy CD Creator Platinum5 before) is an Iomega CD-R 16x (through a USB2.0 port). Yes, its an ugly burner but worth it (at the time!).

Anywayz, its junk at the moment. Plz Help!

I dont know if it helps, but the DrWatson is for VCDCDR32.EXE
When I look at the Taskbar and place the mouse over the DrWatson icon the normal 'tool tip' window appears with DivXG400

Does that mean anything to anyone?

Have you tried removing the all the associated hardware devices from Windows rather than the App ? (ie remove the USB2 interface and CDR devices from control panel/hardware) - Then reboot and let your OS redetect them and reinstall the device drivers - you may have a conflict there rather than the app itself ?

Really? Even though the DrWatson ocurrs when attempting to add the mpg file? I would figure if the hardware drivers were the culprit the DrWatson would ocurr upon launch of Nero or upon starting the actual burn...

Ok, I have uninstalled the USB2 PCMCIA card, restarted and let Windows detect it. Once installed VCDCR32 still crashed at the point when I was attempting to add the mpg (which was created with TMpegEnc).

I have uninstalled Nero an resinatlled without success.
Anyone have any suggestions. Im running out of HDD space while I wait to burn these VCDs.

Nero and EZ duke it out again. Now EZ is down for the count.
