  1. Hi I'm new to this forum and I may be asking a question that may have already been addressed , or if someone can just point me in the right direction with an answer . I'm trying to join two avi files together with virtualdub and I keep getting an error message saying that the audio bitrates doe not match. It says that one file is at 12000.00000 and the other is 11999.00000 and the program will not join them together. Does anyone know how to correct this or how to make the two files match ? Thanks in advance

  2. You would have to save the WAV portion of the AVI uncompressed to a serparate set of files, then restream the video and audio back together. Then the files should join. Of course, by doing this you have uncompressed audio in your .avi files, so your files will be _quite_ a bit larger than before. (ie., a 700meg avi file with compressed audio will be ~1600meg after being restreamed with uncompressed .wav audio).
