    looking at getting a dvd/vcr combo player lots of vcr disney tapes and few dvd titles so far. a must is it must be able to play the VCDs/svcds that i create so far my Apex 660 has exceeded all my expectations....

    currently i am looking at a samsung model 240.00 at best buy

    and today i found an Emerson model 185.00 at walmart


    any recomendations on the 50.00 difference or so?

    Look to the left and there is a link that says DVD Players. Get the model number from each and look in there it will tell you what the players can play along with ratings from fellow users.

    I would buy an Apex(or similar)DVD and a hi-fi VCR player with a Sima
    "video stabilizer" in between so you can "back-up" your DVD's.
    Total cost200 U.S.That way if one component breaks or gets outdated you don't throw them both out.
