Is there any way that I can convert my SVCD files faster. Right now, I use TMPGENC and it takes 5 hours per file. Is there any way I can make that faster?

The best way is to get a faster computer.... I have a 1,7 Ghz P4.... I convert a normal movie with TMPGenc on approx 2-2,5 hours....

Lower your quality settings or install a faster CPU - those are the two overwhelming factors controlling encoding time, everything else is pocket change.
As Churchill famously predicted when Chamberlain returned from Munich proclaiming peace in his time: "You were given the choice between war and dishonor. You chose dishonor, and you will have war." -
And let's not forget the purchase of CCE---$2k will get you a LOT of speed compared to TMPG. I'm crushing stuff to SVCD at around 1.2 times real-time, all with an 1.2ghz T-Bird.

CCE will do the same thing as TMPGEnc in less than 1/4 the time. Dump that snail and go visit Kazaa.

get version 2.5 of Cinema Craft Encoder-SP and then read the conversion method from this site

Thanx for all the help. I downloaded a demo for CCE (Cinema Craft Encoder) but I cant find the tutorial. By the way, does it even convert from SVCD?
