Locked .vob files

i can't seem to open (unlock) some movies with smartripper, for instance, dogma...when i try, it prompts me to try it in a player to see if it unlocks...i put it in powerdvd, but nothing new happens...what can i do??

Sometimes it is an animated menu, that isn't unlocked. Let the menu (and everything else what is before the main movie) play until it loops. Then start the movie and play it a minute or so.

Try playing the film in PowerDVD then pause it, then leave PowerDVD running and run smartripper at the same time.

That sould work.
