I got an error trying to create an MPG with TMPGenc. The error plainly said: "Cannot create file _____". The blank was the path of the file I was trying to make. Any ideas? I did everything by the book as far as I can tell.

Well, I got it to work. I changed my file path and for some reason it decided that was ok. Any ideas why that would be?

Well if you path did not exist, then you would get that error, you would also get the same error if the path was the same as the source if it was on a "read only" CDR
Why don't you post the path, then we can have a laugh, I mean a look -
Sorry, it was neither one of those. Still not sure why it happened, but all is well now.

I also had a similar problem when i would try to open a file in a folder that had a file in it with an very long file name. I just renamed those files and it let me open that floder in TMPEG
