    Can anyone point me to a turtorial or give me a quick lessons on how to cut up a movie with VirtualDub?

    Sure, just look to the left side of this site. "How to...edit". Click that, then scroll down to the relevant section.

    1 Load AVI
    2, move to start, click the yellow key frame back once
    3, move to end, click the yellow key frame forward once
    4, press delete key
    5, Select Video > Direct stream copy
    6, Select Audio > Direct stream copy
    7, SAVE AS
