  1. So I burned at lowest speed , tried SVCD and VCD, still the same.
I'm using Nero and a Logix3000 DVD player which seems to rate well on here.
Is it my media is low quality? I'm about to go out and spend some money on decent disks if you guys think it's worth it?
I've encoded in MPeg1 for standard VCD and Mpeg2 for SVCD. It's really annoying me. I can't play it back on my PC for some reason but my guess is, it's probably cheap disks?
Any help will be appreciated before I go out and maybe waste money?!

The MPegs play back well on my PC.
Secondly , the pixels and sound break up occur at different places on the VCD each playback . HELP!

I think the clue might be that you are getting pixalation in different places each time you play back. Do you get this problem with the same brand of disks only? Try selecting disks with different surface colours or try CD-RW.

  3. I tried some cheap ones then I have some CDRWs that have a dark surface. There is an improvement between the cheap ones and the CdRws but still poor .
