Dear Baldrick: Thank you for your speedy response to my second question. But, I still would like to know if there is a way I can prevent the audio skipping when I play SVCDs which I downloaded from the web on my stand alone DVD player. One of my coworkers said that I can re-encode the svcd with nero...Is this correct?. If yes... would it help and what are the steps to do so.
Thank you
Sincerely,
Coraili

does this skipping apply to all SVCDs you play? if so you player may have bad svcd support.
if not you vcan simply try to remux the movie using BBmpeg, sometimes that can fix it. i would not recoment rencoding using Nero. Nero sux for outher than burning in my opinion.Well, I am the slime from your video.
Oozin' along on your livin'room floor.
