Help,
I can capture ok, but once I play back the avi, I notice that a small portion of the top of the picture is delayed. I have and msi motherboard, p4 2.2g and writing to a promise raid.
I am capturing from a pal vcr at 352x288.
I have used vdub, avi_io and ulead media studio pro 6.5 and they all produce the same results. >8- (
I have come to a halt as to why this tearing at the top of the avi's are occuring.
dx.

This is apparently a common problem with VCR cap, only fix I have seen is to crop the video, ideally on capture or later on encoding.
