  1. I Have the most recent version og tmpegnc but when i try to open an AVi/DIVX file it says that it can not be open or is unsupported. It couldn't be because of the codecs because i've just downloaded the most recent version of DIVX 5.02. And also because it won't even open MPEG files. It keeps saying the same thing. In the VFAPI plun-in all of them are checked and priority level 3. It started with the previous version 2.54 and thats why updated to 2.55(cool I remenbered). IS there anything that i have to change in the registry or something like that? Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated and thanked in advance.

There are other codec's besides this one, in fact most of the AVI's downloaded don’t even use DivX 5

Well it should so maybe you should re-install Windows Media Player, However most problems can be fixed with installing the Nimo codec pack.
