Any way to use DVDit, if only have CD burner?

My Dazzle Video Creator II cam bundled with some software, one of which is Sonic's DVDit program.

Is that totally useless if I only have a CD burner(and not a DVD burner)?

Can I use it for anything?

A big yes to this one. You see, I happen to read the manual that came with mine and I learned that you can make cDVD or miniDVD discs with a CD burner. Give it a try (reading that is), you may discover a whole new world.

Just be warned.... cDVD/MiniDVD may not play on DVD set-tops. You may be watching these movies on you PC. Have you considered VCD/SVCD?

I have an Apex AD-1100W which it appears plays almost everything.

But what is a cDVD? I'm not familiar with that.

Please tell me what that is?

The is a little utility in DVDiT that will allow you to add a "Player" utility that allows you play a DVD-R back on any CD-ROM device, that called cDVD, it's just a utility nothing more. I'm not sure about Ulead DVD Movie Factory it may have this also.
