Downloadable Sony DVD manuals?

Does anyone know where you can download Sony DVD manuals in pdf? I couldnt find any links on their site or on google.

I don't know for sure about the DVD player manual, but when I wanted a copy of the manual for my Sony receiver I had to pay for it. I think it was about $8. The ordering info was somewhere on their website.

I saw on their parts site that it was $6, but I'm thinking that they must have a download link somewhere for a pdf. I wouldnt think that Sony is the type of company to nickel and dime their customers! Afterall, we most likely already paid a higher price for their product, the least they could do is let you download the manual! They let you download other product manuals, so why should DVD players be any different?

I dont need it yet so I'm resisting BUYING the manual, but if there is no other way, this is probably going to be my last Sony purchase.

The Chilean Sony web site has some manuals for download, but first you have to shut down your firewall (if you got one), and you have to enter some personal info. www.sony.cl

(ps: chilean ID are like this: xxxxxxxx-x so you can enter a fake one)
