AIW & Loopy captures, need help!

I just keep getting problems, after installing w2k...
In Ati Tv, whichever codec I use, my video just loops the first 1-2 seconds, audio goes on.
And in vdub, all I get is green video without sound.
I'm really hopeless, everytime I defeat a problem, there is always new one right after it.
Again, hope is very much apreciated, and thanks to those who helped me on that MMC tv problem.

This sounds as if Macrovision is the problem. I'm not aware of any way to disable it in an ATI card. You have to get an external device - the SIMA video enhancer works great.

I was having problems even with home videos. The AIW card was treating them as if they were copyrighted. I got the SIMA and those problems went away. I still have been unable to the Audio/Video sync to work correctly with the ATI. I finally gave up and got a Dazzle 200.

Problem solved!
Anyone else with similar problems, use this

and disable Macrovision.

The macrovision fix worked fine for my Radeon AIW. Before I used it I would get the same video loop while the audio keeps going. I installed the fix and captured the same source and I had no more problems. Audio and video are in sync, also.
