I try to apply high quality filters for block noise reducing in tmpgenc. However, the wait time ends up being something along the lines of 20 hours. This is much too long for me. It was suggested to me to do the work in virtualdub and then frameserver back to tmpgenc. First of all, is there a guide on how to operate virtualdub in this capacity since i've never tried, especially not with filters, and secondly, how do i frameserver back the file to tmpgenc, the explanation wasn't fully thorough, just to do it. Thanks in advance

If you are encoding to VCD format and trying to reduce the 'block noise' then AFAIK virtualdub cannot help, as this is a result of the mpeg encoding process, the (relativley) low bitrate of VCD and TmpGenc itself. If you are trying to remove other 'noise' the virtualdub will help. Simply open you avi file in virtualdub. Select the filters you want from the video-filters menu and frameserve follwing this guide:
