i used dvd2avi now i got the d2v and audio file to put in tempg and then encode but i already did the audio and it bout 20 mins now as for video it say something like 13 hours whats wrong ( vcd ) how long should it take to encode this video only

Audio basicly takes less time to encode then video (example would be MP3 encoding), video is much more complex then Audio (as far as I know!) and therefor takes more time, also, you need to consider the fact that when encoding CD Audio Tracks, they are usually just 3 min long and a Video is usually an hour + more, and naturally would take longer to encode, however, encoding times are diffrent for the type of encoding, and the computer being used to encode.
