Two questions!
1) I have tryed every possible way I have found on this site but i still cannot caputre sound when using virtual dub. I can here sound but it doesn't capture, dunno what tv card I am using BT848 or something live that. Any Ideas?
2) I don't really have that much disk space (20gb spare) but I want to capture MPG's for VCD's but people around here seem to think to capture to AVI is better then converting. I am trying to capture 2hrs sometimes but I just do not have anough disk space, can someone help please?
Thanks in advance,
Paul Bidwell

I remember having the exact same problem. I have XP. I went to Control Panel -->Sounds, Speech, Audio Devices-->Sounds and Audio Devices-->Audio Tab. In the "Recording" box, I chose "Volume" and checked the "Line In" select box, and it worked as it should. I hope this fixes your problem.
