How much would a standard 80 gig hard drive cost? Would it be more of a bargain to get more? If so how much more? I'm looking for ballpark ranges so I'll have an idea before going to town tommorow![]()

I got 80GB 5400RPM (slower then 7200RPM, but much cheaper) for under a $100 at CompUsa a few months ago... even tho its a slower hard drive I don't really know anything different... I got 3 hard drive in my computer
45 GB 7200RPM
60 GB 7200RPM
80GB 5400RPM mostly for storage, but do capture and encode too. -
The Seagate 80gb 7200rpm drive is now less than £100 over here in the UK the last time I looked.

This is a 80gig one. It is special because it is a silent one. Always a plus for bedroom computers - in my case....
