SVCD - Audio perfect but missing last 30 seconds

Heres the deal, I have a 3hr movie that has been converted from AVI to MPEG2. I cut it up in TMPGEnc (ver 2.5) and have an absolutely brilliant production, Lip sync perfect, video perfect etc except that the voice stops in the last 30 seconds and the video continues.
The voice actually stops where I set my stop point in TMPEG and for some strange reason the video continues for another 30 seconds. Why?
I know I am new to this but I did follow all instructions faithfully and apart from this 30 second issue you would think I was watching a DVD movie!

I played a bit more with this and think I found the answer. I think I should have ticked inverse telecine. Ticked it and now all ok. Don't understand though.
