  2. i presume u are making a v.c.d. 2 disks what i do is when u have done the movie i.e 1.3gb big click on file go down to mpeg tools click on merge and cut in the type box click on mpeg-1 video cd click add double click on your film save file as disk 1 and start from 00:00:00 to 60:00:00 for the first disk click run and it will make the first disk for you the second one set frame 59:45:00 to now if you reset the 00:00:00 and click arrow up i think it is it changes to (last) i.e. frame save as disk 2 and use nero 5.5 and wayhay a v.c.d dont be allarmed as it takes a few mins for the second disk to convert but it gets there i havent had any coasters since i sussed it out all by my loansomes and i had a few coasters i tell you now i put in menus very flash with my logo looks good too hpoe this helps you

  3. heh heh.. i can vouch for sparrow.. i use the same process, and ive only made 4 coasters out of about 20 movies so far, and hell, i use the cheapest cd-rs i can find. if someone says go buy better, i find a way to make my junk work... follw his directions, or use the guide on the left, that shit is the best!

  4. could not agree more...used that process for 12 movies and works like a dream...
Got a question for Sparrow: how do you put menus/ logo etc... (do you also know how to put a text line on the last scene of 1st disc saying something like : insert Disc 2....)
I think this can be done on the AVI/DIvX but I want to do that after I convert to VCD...
    Thanks

I always put insert disc two on my vcds . I use video impression , just add it when u merge the files , ditto to put your logo on the frontend. After using video impression you go through tmpeg to encode to vcd format ! hope thats useful Likkletree...

  6. use nero 5.5 to put your menu ive started to do it all the time now.
when u select video cd just check the menu system and put what ever you want background picture and remember to change the " created by nero " bit cause thats really naff
