i'm trying de encode my DivX file to mpeg1.
i'm using TMPGEnc to this but when i'm halv thru part two i get the error
"Illegal Floating Point Calculation order".
whats thats all about and is there anything i can do about it?

"Illegal Floating Point Calculation order"
Your error message means that your AVi freezes.
Look up the frame where your AVI freezes, write this number down and use http://xs2k.snoop.dk/avidefreezer.zip (avidefreezer) to unfreeze the AVI file.
If you encode you AVi now with TMPGENC then the errormessage is gone, but be aware of a/v desynchronisation.
