I connected my coaxial from my digital cable converter to my AIW 7500 because I wanted to try to capture from cable TV.
I let it recognize the channels, which it did (it recognized every channel) but all channels appeared black.
Is this a problem because it is "Digital Cable" and it goes through a converter, or what? I tried to take the signal before it goes into the converter as well, same problem.
Any experience with this?

drewson99,
Your ATI 7500 cannot descramble scrambled cable signals. You will need to switch to channel 3/4 (same as your TV) on your ATI to view.

You can connect using the RCA cables as well and the TV will let you change channels that way.
Have you had an problems with capturing sound ?
