Hi,
A friend is letting me borrow some DVD's tomorrow and I have a few questions before I get started. Firstly, I want to keep most DVD's to just one CDR CD, however, if I really liked the movie then I'll put it on two CD's. I've read the DVD to DivX rip (http://forum.vcdhelp.com/userguides/78732.php) and am wondering if that is the best method? Also, I've downloaded some good DVD rips that are in DivX and im just wondering how they are kept under the 1 CD limit because the quality at a 16:9 ratio is really superb, are they increasing the video quality and decreasing the audio quality? If so then that is what I would like to do with mine, I would like to keep them at the following:
Video quality - 2/3
Audio quality - 1/3
And finally, if the DVD to DivX rip is the best should I use the new 5.0 codec or the 4.11 codec? Thanks.
