  1. Hello

I have a movie that is DivX with AC3 sound. I know that my DVDplayer can play VCDs that is burned on DVDRcds.

How can i do to get a AC3 sound on this kind of disc. Should i rip the sound and add it in the audio dir or? Anyone?

Rip the audio ac3 and multiplex it with the vcd mpeg and then author the dvd. Or just "drag" the ac3 audio on the video when you author it. The so called AUDIO folder on dvds has nothing to do with dvd video.

    Baldrick,

If you can put MPEG-1 (VCD specs) on DVD-R mdia and play them like DVD's, how do you author the disc. I have tried to use SpruceUp, but the finished product has no sound in any of the files and every video after the first video has a serious jerking problem. Am I doing something wrong? I simply drag the complete .m1v file into SpruceUp and it automatically says there is sound from the .mpa file of the same name. I can tell the audio loaded because the speaker icon is listed with the video details. However, when I simulate it, it has no sound in any video. When I burn it, the first video works fine (minus the sound), but the rest of the videos jerk every couple of milliseconds. Any idea what could be causing this? I know my player will handle VCD's, I've been making them for a long time.

    Thanks!
