    hi all, i would like to ask whether i can extract the audio part of a VCD and convert it to either mp3 or wav format?
    please help and thanks a million for reading this !

    Use VCDgear to convert the .dat to .mpg
    Use TMPG to demultiplex the mpg
    Use LAME MP3enc or the GUI called Razorlame to decode the mp2 to .wav or encode the .mp2 to .mp3

    You see, there are two GUIs. Unzip all files to one directory.
