I have an AVI that I download with Firewire from my digicam, 720x480. I frameserve from avisynth, resizing to 352x480. I was told that anything above 240 lines vertical resolution would have to be de-interlaced. This holds true to play on the Daewoo, otherwise it stutters. The exact same disc plays fine on the Pioneer! Any ideas why? Not having to deinterlace saves a LOT of time encoding, I wonder why the Pioneer will play fine but the Daewoo insists on deinterlaced.
