Hello. I have a Daewoo DVD-P480 player, and whenever I insert a disc it says "no disc"......
I have tried original DVDs, SVCDs, VCDs, etc.. and I get the same error.
What can this be caused by? It is about 3-4 years old...

Sounds like it could be dirty. Try running a cleaner cd.

Cleaning rarely works, but it's worth a shot. Probably it's time to replace your player. DVD players generally aren't designed to last and if you get 3 years out of one of them, you've done well. The lasers are failing and cleaning might help, but if you clean it and still have problems, it's time to buy a new player.
