Hi , iv got spiderman on svcd which i want on vcd , iv converted loads of svcd's to vcd by cutting and pasting the mpeg from cd to hard drive then using simple multiplex in tmpge to change it to a workable mpeg2 once iv done that i encode just the video to vcd then multiplex the vcd vid with the svcd audio everytime with great reults and no sync problems...
The problem im having is multiplexing cd2 of spiderman , everytime i try to change it to a workable mpeg 2 it finishes at about 350meg (should be 700meg)does anyone know how to fix this or off any other program that will do this.

    cheers Kevstir

Ps: its easyer to sell vcd's as most dvds play them just before u ask why i want to go from svcd to vcd, the ones i do have no noticable drop in quality.....

  4. Only solution that's worked for me in the past is to use a tool like Mediaware's M2-Edit Pro and use the "repacketize" function to fix the errors and then re-encode. Will probably make the video stream larger though...

  5. Hi

I had this problem for ages..because my dvd player only plays vcds and when I want it to play svcds I was stuffed..But then I found out a simple multiplex in tmpgenc solved the problem (using mpeg1). NOT ALWAYS!! the stupid thing would stop halfway say eg (60%) I searched forever on how to solve this problem...nothing and then one day by accident BINGO!! I downloaded a prog called ][MUXER from www.moonlight.co.il and did a REMUX and then rerun it through tmpgenc and volia perfect 100%...Hope it helps!!
