I dont know what you guys but I think KingViper's SVCD template is awesome. But I was wondering if there was any way to calculate how much quality to use (the default is 50) in order to max out the disc. Because it seems like such a waste to burn a movie and have it only take up about 500-600 megs of space. Any help on this matter, i think will benifit us all. So far I found that if you encode a standard divx file (90 min, 44.1khz, 23 fps, divxmpg4 V3) and use kingviper's template at CQ 70 then the result is a file that is just slightly under 800 megs.
