  1. Right i ripped the DVD got The DivX encoded AVI and the WAV file now i want to combine the two so i just have an AVI file
    but i dont know what tool to you use, i have looked through the tutorials but can't seem to find it,

    I know I am a newbie (first DVD i've ever tried) but please help me :P

    You'd need to use a Video Editing program, such as Sonic Foundry Vegas Video or Adobe Premiere and re-render it as your format of choice

  3. Actually you can do this in virtualdub. Just open the video file from the file menu. On The video menu select direct stream copy. On the Audio menu select wav audio and select your wav file when prompted. The from the file menu do save avi and give it a new filename. This will creat a new avi with the audio and video correctly interleaved.

    This will work, but unless you also select compression in the audio menu, and compress to mp3 the resultant DivX is going to be BIG.
