    Hello,
    Someone asked how to convert from widescreen to fullscreen but no one replyied, does anyone know if it is possible to do this and how, Thanks in advance for any help...

    It depends what you are trying to do.

    If you want to encode with letterboxing then you will need to work out the correct aspect for the film to resize by.

    If however you want to take the middle of the image and have a 'pan and scan' effect, then you could use AVIsynth for this, cropping the left and right borders.

    Thanks for repliying, what I meant was I don't have (or want) widescreen TV and the widescreen films look stupidly small (narrow) on normal TV, so is it possible to make the widescreen Film look closer to normal size screen (Fill more of the screen).......thnx for any help

    I to hate widescreen movies.

    What I found out is that places like Amazon.com carry FULL SCREEEN DVD releases of popular movies.

    Like they have Full Screen Harry Potter, Full Screen Lord of the Rings, Full Screen Jurrasic park.
