I have made three coasters so far, I use VCDEasy to make the VCD's and so far they seem to burn fine but cannot get them to play in my DVD player or on my computer. I have only got them to play if I associate the .dat file with Windows Media. If I try WinDVD it locks up my computer and will not read the disk. If I put in my DVD player then it just spins for a few secs then reports no disc inserted. Please help...... All info I can find says that my DVD player will play VCD's made on the computer..

Firstly, does your DVD player play CD-R/W media at all? You can do a simple test by trying to play an audio CD burnt on the same media.
Secondly, if you are having burning problems with VCDEasy/CDRDAO, you can try burning the CUE/BIN image VCDEasy makes with another burning program (e.g., CDR-Win or even one of the newer versions of Nero).
