I have a strange problem,, Released SVCDS like Spider Man & Star Wars Ep 2 kinda skip on my dvd player.. every few seconds its kinda stops for a split second and then plays on, does it very often though, yet the same movie plays fine on the computer and on a friend Pioneer DVD player..
And ALL SVCD's that I do myself work perfectly on my player.. its only the movies that I download that I sometimes have problems with..
Anyone know how I might fix this ? like is there an update firmware for my player ?
The DVD player is a XMS 750.. or should I just buy a decent player
Cheers.

You could try upgrading the DVD drive in your player, try swapping it with the one in your PC to see if it works. This will invalidate your warranty though and it probably won't be the same colour, you may be able to swap over the front parts of the drive to match if that really bothers you.

Ill answer my own question with a big fat NO.. a PC DVD drive is NOTHING like the drive in an XMS 750...
Anyway, I fixed the problem, I bought a new DVD Player..
Its a problem with the XMS series, cause I took a disk in with me to test, and tried it on the XMS 950 and it was worse..
Anyway, all fixed
