  1. I'm having issues converting some AVI files that are encoded in DIVX. When I encode to MPG1 and then burn them to a VCD format using Nero, the video quality is fine, by the sizing of the video is off. It seems that the edges of the video are cut off on the TV aka you can't read the subtitles or whatever. It's as if TMPGEnc has left the ratio at 1:1 instead of converting it to NTSC 4:3 525 Lines. Has anyone run into this problem or have a suggestion on converting this properly? Let me know please. Thanks for any help

    Maybe you have not adjusted Video arrange method=Full screen(keep aspect ratio)?

    If the DivX has proper aspect ratio to start with Source aspect ratio should be 1:1(vga).
