  1. Hello,
I want to convert a mpg file of around 420 mb to an avi file of around 100mb. I'm using virtualdub and tried myself many times, but the files are always blurry and too big (the original mpg files are of good quality) . I've seen 42 minutes avi files who are crystalclear and only about 100mb. So how can I do that? Am I using the wrong program or do I need to adjust some settings? Please help.
    thank you

  2. Well quite simply put, just cut the bitrate down to 1/4 of what it is for the mpeg file.
