My DVD player (SHARP DV-600) does not support SVCD, but I am trying to trick it do so. Is this the site that explains it: ttp://www.vcdhelp.com/mpeg2tovcd.htm , or is this just a SVCD to VCD converter. If so, why not use TMPGE w/o going through DVD2AVI? I have also tried to force the MPEG-1 heading in TMPGE, but no luck. Any help in tricking my player into playing SVCD?
Thanks!
Chris

What you want to do is very simple. Just demux and remux as VCD(non-standard). You will and with a XVCD, that your play may play or not.
