Why do cats need to store a video in YUY2 format, interleaved instead of planar? That one is being slowly deprecated, perhaps even by filters, or filters could be faster treating planes at ones and such, you seem to convert to it in your avisynth scripts and I noticed you had even problems de-interlacing it. Can you specify, why you need it?

You can try yourself with Vdub2: Compression...->select a lossless codec->Configure, Pixel format

if I don't mistake Vdub2 is only 64bit, however if possible my target should be get a stacked .avi uncompressed YUY2

The original VDub 2 is both 32bit and 64bit. On this page, it is the 44282 ZIP file.
